What the consultation includes

The consultation is usually scheduled for approximately 40 minutes.

  • A brief health discussion
  • Blood-pressure measurement
  • Collection of the cervical sample
  • Submission of the sample to the laboratory
  • Communication of the laboratory report
  • Guidance on the next step where required

Your laboratory result

The sample is sent to a laboratory. Once the report is available, we will communicate the result to you. If anything needs further investigation or medical care, we will explain it and recommend referral to the right healthcare professional.
